PSYCHEDELIC WARLORDS (Acid Mothers Temple & White Hills)

LORDS OF LIGHT (Kinski & Bardo Pond)

MOTORHEADS (Mudhoney & Mugstar)

And now for something a little different... The Sonic Attack Trilogy! This is a series of three 7" split singles from the Trensmat label of modern psych/rock bands doing covers of classic Hawkwind songs.

BRAUSEPÖTER - Liebe, Glück, Zufriedenheit 7"

Their only release that I'm aware of, on ZickZack. Neue Deutsche Power Pop!

HANS-A-PLAST - Hans-A-Plast (II)

Their self-titled 2nd album. Deutschpunk with female vocals.

ABWÄRTS - Amok Koma

Their amazing first album on ZickZack. Tight, driving melodic punk/wave. Wire-esque, but so much more... proto-industrial in ways as well.

THOMAS LEER - Private Plane 7"

The debut release from synth-pop icon Thomas Leer.

DIE PARTEI - La Freiheit des Geistes

This is one of my all-time favorite NDW albums. Die Partei is a project of Walter Dahn and Tom Dokoupil (Wirtschaftswunder, Siluetes 61, Die Radierer). It's an excellent record of psychedelic electronic wave pop, and one that you definitely should not miss! Released on the 1000 Augen label.

KEIN MENSCH - Kein Mensch 7"

This is a completely different Kein Mensch single than the other one I've posted. Even though both contain the song "Kein Mensch", they are different versions on each record. Both singles are also self-titled to further add to the confusion!

VOICE FARM - Double Garage 7"

The B-Side, "Elevate" has always been the highlight of this single for me. Groovy electronic pop.

39 CLOCKS - Pain It Dark

Label sampler from Schallmauer and the first release on the label.
